Translation

On 9 December 1658 Mr. Richard Gildersleeve and Mr. Robbert Forman were elected and confirmed by the lord director general as magistrates of Heemsteede from the list of persons nominated for magistrates of the said village.[i]

Done at Fort Amsterdam the 9th of December 1658.
