Translation

At the session the magistrates of the village of Heemsteede submitted the nomination of magistrates done by the aforesaid magistrates and inhabitants of the aforesaid village. The honorable lord director general and councilors of New Netherland appointed from those nominated as magistrates in the village of Heemsteede for this coming year the persons of Jan Sticlant and Jan Hicks. Done at the session as stated. Ady ut supra.
