Letter. Director Stuyvesant to the governor and council of Connecticut, agreeing that Westchester shall be under that government for the present, provided that neither party exercise any authority over the English towns on Long Island, previously under the Dutch, and agreeing to the arrangement entered into at the late meeting at Hartford.
