and Paulus Leendersz van de Grift and Oloff Stevensz Cortlandt, schepens of this city, to settle the boundaries between the lands of the village of Gravesande, Antony Jansz, Conynen Island and the land formerly owned by Robbert Peynoyer, according to the patents and deeds.[158] These our aforesaid commissioners shall report to her place early tomorrow morning (God willing) and let this serve to admonish and request of your honor that someone be sent at this time to represent your honor's interests. In conclusion, after cordial greetings, we commend your honor to God's protection and remain, my lady, (below was written) your honor's devoted friend (and was signed) P. Stuyvesant (and dated): Done at New Amsterdam, 3 September 1654 (the address was) To My Lady Debora Mody at Gravesande.[159]
