I swear and promise in the presence of the Almighty God, that in all written documents I shall pursue and observe precisely the instructions and articles of the court of Holland with regard to the office of notary, as well as the addition devised by the director general and councilors of New Netherland regarding the salary in accordance with the situation of this province. So help me God Almighty.
