This first Jannuary Ao. 1657: In East towne in the N. Netherlands.

Wee hose hands are vnder writen do promes to owne the gouemor of the manatas as our gouemor and obay all his magastrates and lawes that are mad accorden to god, so long as we liue in his Jurisdiction.
