Document: Order for the arrest and imprisonment of Maria Verlett for contempt

[several lines lost] response [ ] the aforesaid Maria [ ] to make restitution for [ ] ordinary and extraordinary [ ] was summoned and given notice [ ] which [ ] remains in contempt; also, having received her frivolous and false accusations against the director general and councilors and their fiscal, submitted the 2nd of this month, the director general and councilors order and command their fiscal to secure the aforesaid Maria Varleth in the ordinary place of confinement and at the appropriate time to bring proceedings against her according to law. Done at Fortress Amsterdam in New Netherland. Dated as above. (was signed)
