Translation

Received the petition of Cornelis Steenwijck, requesting payment of ƒ935:0– for as much as was provided by him for the benefit of this city towards the completion of its defense wall during the English war.

After deliberation it is resolved, in accordance with the resolution and [ ] the burgomasters and schepenen of this city are ordered [several lines lost].
