Translation

Received the petition of Jan Montagne, farmer of the tappers’ excise of wines and beers in this city’s jurisdiction, showing that he went out to measure on the day after the farming was let [several lines lost] and whereas he, claiming [ ] rightfully had coming, [ ] excise of what had been consumed after the date [ ] farming at the innkeepers; therefore, requested that he be allowed to reduce the aforesaid 700 guilders for payment of the farm.

After due deliberation it was decided: The conditions of the farm speak for themselves, to which the petitioner is referred. Dated as before.
