Translation

The report of the court messenger of the village of Breuckelen having been submitted by the lord Pieter Tonneman stating that some persons residing in and near the village of Breuckelen were unwilling and not inclined to pay the imposed money for the maintenance of d o . Johannis Theodorius Polhemius, minister, notwithstanding the director general and councilors had approved the same.

Thereupon the following order has been issued: By director general and councilors of New Netherland, [several lines lost][i]
