Petrus Stuyvesant, on behalf of their High Mightinesses, etc... has given and granted unto Abraham Clock a lot lying within this city on the east side of the lot of Richerd Smith and on the west side of the path which Burger Joris uses to go to the shore; beginning at the boundary of Richerd Smith's lot at the shore its length is 4½ rods; then easterly to the path of Burger Joris its breadth is 4 rods; from there to the street or road its length is 4½ rods; and then its breadth along the said street to the boundary line of Ritcherd Smith's lot is 4 rods, with the express conditions, etc...

Done at Amsterdam in New Netherland, 26 August 1655.
