Petrus Stuyvesant, on behalf of their High Mightinesses, etc... has given and granted unto Jacob Luby a piece of land lying on Long Island in Mespat, beginning at the division of Claes van Elslant's land and running along the marsh or highway southwest and northeast; it is in breadth 32 rods; running into the woods from the highway to the thicket, south east and northwest, it is in length 468¾ rods; making together 25 morgens, with the express conditions, etc...

Done at Amsterdam in New Netherland, 30 November 1654.
