Translation

[several lines lost] the petition of Gijsbert Brij, sergeant, having arrived here with the ship the Peereboom, requesting permission to depart for the fatherland in order to take care of some personal affairs.

After due deliberation it was decided: fiat ut petitur. The petitioner can request his passport and closure of accounts as is appropriate. Dated as above.
