Translation

Before me, Cornelis van Tienhoven, secretary of New Netherland, appeared Roelant Hackwaert, who empowers Claes Jansz, baker, to collect all his outstanding debts and, if there are any debts to be paid, Claes may pay them out of what he receives. In witness whereof this is signed by Roelant Hackwaert. Done the 3rd of January 1645.
