Translation

Nicasius de Sille, fiscal, ex officio, plaintiff, against Jochem de Backer, defendant, concerning the matter regarding the accusation by Pieter, the Company’s Negro, done against the aforesaid Jochem, that the aforesaid Jochem instigated the Negro to steal gunpowder from the Company’s magazine and to deliver it to Jochem.

The plaintiff, having made his demand in writing, was ordered to place copies of the demand in the parties’ hands in order to answer thereon. Dated as above.
