Translation

Hans Pieterssz from Comhel in Norway promises in the presence of the undersigned witnesses to satisfy the contract which he made at Amsterdam fair in the year 1654 with Poulus vander Beecq, as an honest man is bound to do, to wit, that he would serve him from Amsterdam fair 1654 until Amsterdam fair 1655, for the sum of two hundred and fifty guilders. Done at New Amsterdam in New Netherland, this day the 14th of February.
