Honored Sir:The bearers hereof are the Commanders of the four New England ketches brought in here yesterday, whom I have allowed to depart with their arms, unmolested, and for that purpose have despatched an express boat to convey them free of expense to the neighboring colony; therefore I request that you will civilly treat our seamen of the ship Expectatie, taken near Nantucket, and, according to information, conveyed to your colony, and allow them to come hither unmolested, which will oblige me on like occasion to be,
