Extract from the Protocol[1]

Inventory of the peltries which were salvaged from Jan de Kaper's yacht, that was lost, and were sold to the highest bidder, namely.- Mr. Hendrick Cousturier; as follows:

Mr. Hendrick Cousturier shall pay this to Harmanes Freedricks,

which they gave to the Indians as a gift for the aforementioned goods that they obtained.
