Description

Order on a petition of Mingo Anthony a negro. Commissions to Lucus Santin as judge, Wm. Nicolls as register, and John Colier as marshall, for the trial of Nicholas Clough master of the ship Camelion read and approved. Appeal of the town of Hurley from a judgement of the Kingson sessions to the court of assizes allowed. Rules concerning markets to be observed. Sec. John Spragge to be clerk of the assizes. John Palmer appointed high sheriff of Staten Island. Writs of election sent to the sheriff of New York.
