Having received the nominations transmitted and submitted by the burgomasters of the city of Amsterdam in New Netherland; therefore, the director general and councilors of New Netherland have selected from the same and confirmed:

For orphan master,

Oloff Stevensz van Cortlant

For surveyor,

Hendrick Hendricksen Kip

For fire warden, Daniel Litschoe

Thus done at the session of the honorable lord director general and councilors held in Fort Amsterdam in New Netherland, dated as above.
