[several lines lost] sailors [ ] each according to his [ ] to be allowed to duty free [ ] [ ordered the ] lord fiscal de Sille to announce and order [ ] and sailors who are now here [ and those who will ] come afterwards, that before they transport or sell them elsewhere, they shall bring and deliver, without exception, the goods that were brought by them under the name of matroosen voeringh or other merchandise, to the honorable Company’s warehouse here, to be properly inspected as to whether they amount to more than the allowed two months’ wages, on pain of being confiscated according to the edicts.
