Received the petition of Resolveert Waldron, guard, remonstrating the heavy work that he must do next to and together with the Company’s Negroes, more than any guard has ever done, not only during the day, but also at night in the breaking of stone and in addition with the laying up of this fort in stone; therefore, requested an improvement in his salary.
