[several lines lost] the aforesaid [ ] first said that he had sold [ his brother’s ] gun to the wilden for 6 beavers, being now [ but two ] days ago.

The director general and councilors order the fiscal to detain the ensign in the city hall of this city and to continue investigating this case. Dated the end of July 1656.
