Received and read the petition of Johannes Pietersz Verbrugge in which he remonstrates that on the 19th of July he saw his account at the commissary’s and found an entry posted for ƒ1113:12 that he advanced to the city during the time of the English war. He is surprised to discover that it had been canceled out and not accepted. Therefore, he requests that he be credited again for the aforesaid pledge and that it may be balanced with recognition.
