My opinion is that [ ] shall be refused, and that [ ] of the sailors as well as [ ] were not declared, in accordance with the [ ] shall be confiscated; and if it would be [ understood ] that those who were imprisoned by the Turk get back their beavers, or some of them, that that will happen free of charge and pro Deo, and not in any way because of any claim. Opinion of lord de Deckere. My view would be that the sailors be given back roughly as many beavers as what two months’ wages for each of them could amount to with the usual surcharge. Dated as above.
