The prisoner, Claes Bordingh, once again questioned by the fiscal as to whether he will confess according to the order and decision of the director-general and high council yesterday the 8th of December, says he will now bear witness to the truth by confessing that which is known to him; namely, from whom he bought the confiscated contraband and from which ship it came.He requests a delay until the afternoon, which is granted him. Done in Amsterdam, 9 December 1653.
