[1] [ To the chamber of the West India Company at Amsterdam, ] The States General of the United Netherlands.

Honorable, faithful, Pious, Beloved,

[ You will be able to see what we have resolved respecting the return of Petrus Stuyvesant, director general of New Netherland, the ] accompanying extract of our resolutions, which we have thought proper to send you herewith, for you information. Herewith we conclude by commending your honor to God's holy protection, in The Hague the 27th of April 1652. Was signed, Johan van Reedrs.
